Scopely announced that Shlomi Aizenberg has been appointed chief business officer of the mobile gaming company. Scopely, which is owned by Savvy Games Group, has been on a roll with $5 billion in revenues from Monopoly Go. The game was in the works for seven years at Scopely, but it generated $2 billion in revenue in its first 10 months on the market. This, in turn, has enabled Scopely to make acquisitions such as its $3.5 billion purchase of Niantic. Scopely co-CEOs, Walter Driver and Javier Ferreira said in a statement that, “As Scopely continues to grow, we are committed to expanding our leadership team with individuals who embody our vision and strategic ambitions.
