Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in lending, credit administration, and/or banking is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including exceptional Excel skills, is required.
  • Experience using banking and credit software is required.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems is required.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks is required.
  • High initiative and follow-through are required.
  • The ability to work independently and with a team is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required.
  • NMLS registration is required upon hire.
Responsibilities
  • Underwrite and analyze consumer and less complex commercial loan requests in support of Relationship Bankers.
  • Manage loan portfolio compliance, including file exceptions, past dues, maturing loans, covenant tracking, and documentation.
  • Coordinate all stages of credit processing, from client outreach and document collection through application, approval, closing, and onboarding.
  • Facilitate renewals, modifications, and annual reviews to maintain relationship quality and prevent asset attrition.
  • Identify lending opportunities within existing client relationships and introduce additional bank products to meet client needs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and ensure adherence across credit functions.
