Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Practicing as a Physician Assistant
  • Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant Program
  • Current Physician Assistant License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including allergy testing, sinus CT scans, and pulmonary function tests
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations
  • Perform and assist with in-office procedures such as Administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy (SCIT and SLIT); Nasal endoscopy
  • Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in Electronic Health Records within 24 hours of their visit
  • Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients by utilizing both Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluation and treatment after a variety of surgeon performed sinus procedures
  • Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community
  • Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship representative to help garner credibility and market Aspire
  • Adhere to standard metrics: Testing 50% minimum threshold; Treatment 30% minimum threshold; Intraocular pressure conversion 7% minimum threshold
  • Other duties as assigned
