Requirements
  • BS/BA degree required, understanding of FDA Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) regulations a must and at least 2 years of relevant pharma/biotech experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Strong PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel Skills
  • Reporting platforms and services (Cognos, SAP-Business Objects, OBIEE)
  • Visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView etc.)
  • Databases (Postgres, Oracle, MS Access, SharePoint List etc.)
  • Ability to organize/curate data and see big picture from scattered pieces of information
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills required
  • Knowledge of Validation processes and associated documentation
  • Excellent verbal, writing, presentation and project management skills
  • Strong strategic orientation with ability to translate into operational priorities and plans

Responsibilities
  • Build and continuously improve data analytics through supporting models that provide insights into efficiency, quality, stakeholder feedback, and key performance indicators to drive timely and informed decision making
  • Maintain and develop reporting databases and analytics applications in environments such as Excel, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft/SAP BI, and/or other BMS environments
  • Leverage internal data systems and tools to efficiently maintain data and reporting processes to minimize manual data retrieving
  • Contribute to qualitative and quantitative research projects through collaboration with data trends from cross-functional teams (Commercial, VAP, Brand Marketing, etc.)
  • Utilize data analysis tools to aggregate and analyze data to make actional recommendations and answer key business questions
  • Support efforts to provide detailed and high-level metrics and analysis for various aspects of BMS REMS programs across REMS operations functional areas
  • Analyze REMS prescriber and pharmacy operations and interactions and identify process improvements that could be introduced to reduce REMS administrative burden
  • Run and maintain reports regarding activities, outcomes, and trends and be prepared to deliver presentations to management team on a regular and ad-hoc basis
  • Collect data for monthly reports and quarterly reviews regarding activities, outcomes, and trends of the Advisor team
  • Continually remain apprised of the constantly changing landscape of the healthcare industry and any impacts it may have to our REMS programs and reporting mechanisms
  • Obtain a deep understanding of the prescriber and pharmacy operating environments through vendor and consulting interactions, stakeholder discussions, conference attendance, BMS events etc
  • Analyze key stakeholder complaints, address rapidly, and discuss with applicable functional leads to collaborate and propose impactful and realistic solutions
  • Interpret and contextualize analytical findings documented by the REMS Advisor team
  • Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports to the leadership team as required
