We are looking for a Global Supply Manager (GSM) to lead sourcing, negotiations and supplier management activities in support of Cruise’s global real estate and commercial operations functions.
What you’ll be doing:
Support procurement of equipment and services for charging infrastructure development, real estate construction, facilities management, and commercial operations.
Conduct RFx, negotiate the cost and other terms and conditions of such purchases by collaborating with the business partners and legal teams
Ensure smooth procure to pay process by working with the business partners and finance team
Gather requirements and input, conduct research, analyze data, propose optimal indirect procurement processes and procedures (e.g. coupa) and obtain consensus from the various partners.
What you must have:
8+ years of demonstrated experience in procurement, program management, project management or operations in a technology related industry
5+ years of experience with real estate development procurement that includes, but not limited to, procuring general contractors, engineering and architectural services, and construction consultants
Bachelor’s degree required, JD/MBA preferred
Program management and process improvement skills desired
Strong contract negotiation skills and legal frameworks
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Superior analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives
Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise, and problem-solve
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
Organizational skills to manage and track transactional details
Bonus Points!
2+ years of experience with procuring electric vehicle charging infrastructure (DCFC’s, L2 Chargers, Charging-as-a-Service, and alternative energy)
Significant legal / contract knowledge or legal degree
The salary range for this position is $129,200 - 190,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
