Requirements
  • At least 2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or sourcing experience.
  • Experience proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates through outbound recruiting efforts.
  • Strong candidate screening and assessment skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage candidates and hiring managers effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain consistent productivity in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
  • Proactively source, engage, and screen candidates for technical and professional roles within the power and utilities sector.
  • Execute outbound sourcing and outreach to develop qualified candidate pipelines for active and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, direct sourcing, professional networks, and other recruiting channels to identify and engage talent.
  • Identify and target candidates from utilities, engineering and consulting firms, contractors, and other relevant industry organizations.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and assess experience, qualifications, compensation expectations, availability, and overall fit.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear and accurate candidate summaries.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, priorities, and target candidate profiles.
  • Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining speed, quality, and candidate communication.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of passive candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Track recruiting activity and pipeline metrics, including sourcing activity, candidate conversations, submissions, interviews, offers, and hires.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate engagement through offer acceptance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information within the Applicant Tracking System.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, utilities, infrastructure, or other technical roles.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and an Applicant Tracking System.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant recruiting experience will be considered.
