Work with a diverse team and audience of internal stakeholders to manage engagement contracts, while maintaining a “delight the customer” mindset.
Maintain an understanding for end-to-end purchase to pay processes and functional team responsibilities between Sourcing, Procurement, and Accounts Payable, and assist in resolving cross-team issues in a collaborative manner.
Work with the sourcing team to facilitate global and country-specific processes within the EMEA, AMER and or APAC region.
In partnership with Sourcing Managers, review and analyze data to determine cost savings opportunities through vendor consolidation and/or contract renegotiations. Prepare and present data for executive leaders related to department spend and recommendations to improve value from supplier services.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Execute sourcing events (i.e. spot buy, RFQ/RFP, etc.) when necessary.
Learn how to develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for the different categories in Sourcing.
Help identify areas of risk for the business (i.e., indemnities, limits of liability, delivery of service, quality, performance, timeline, warranty, governance or other contractual terms); make recommendations where applicable.
Provide business with approved sourcing tools, processes, and knowledge to qualify vendors and manage vendor relationships.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal customers / clients as well as vendors.
Ability to shine under pressure while dealing with changing priorities and timelines.
Students must be at least 18 years of age
Student must be actively enrolled in a degree granting academic institution at the time of internship.
Students must reside and attend university in the country where the internship is being offered.
Pursuing an MBA or Master’s in business, with a supply chain concentration
Strong PowerBI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Strong communication skills
About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 – August 11 or June 12 – September 1) and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March. Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized base salary between $41,000 and $81,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
