We are currently looking for a Talent Development Program Manager to be a vital member of our Talent & Organizational Development team, defining, implementing, and scaling talent and leadership development solutions across the company. This role will have the primary responsibility of driving the development and execution of the Collectors manager development approach. The Talent Development Program Manager will be expected to quickly gain an understanding of the business and various employee populations and ensure that Collectors’ approach to building managers is able to meet the needs of this quickly evolving organization. The ideal candidate loves to build, thrives in ambiguity, is flexible and adaptable to change, moves quickly, and can demonstrate strong communication skills to deliver messages across all levels of the organization. This is an opportunity to manage and drive highly visible people processes and practices.
This role reports to the VP of Talent and Organizational Development and will be based at either our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ office (hybrid).
What You’ll Do:
- Scale and manage the existing manager development programs, including program administration, evaluation, and finding creative ways to improve the way that Collectors leverages these programs
- Develop and execute an approach to manager enablement tools, beyond training
- Curate intranet content to support self-service individual development and manager development resources
- Develop and implement additional learning/OD solutions in support of business objectives; facilitate training sessions as needed
- Be a trusted expert and partner to HRBPs, helping them evolve their thinking on talent development
- Play a lead role on the project team launching the company’s first LMS
- Develop LMS governance guidelines and contribute to the LMS configuration process by defining how the LMS will be used to support manager development programs and activities
- Use data to assess the state of talent at Collectors and to keep HRBPs and other partners informed of operational and impact metrics
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of HR, talent development or related experience ideally with experience across industries or companies
- Demonstrated experience in program, project, and change management. Experience standing up new programs is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience scaling learning solutions in a rapidly evolving business
- Demonstrated success in building employee, manager, and HRBP facing tools and materials, including facilitation experience
- Strong understanding of the talent development space
- Experience using related tools (such as assessments, surveys, and frameworks) and strong knowledge of program development steps including needs assessment, program design, delivery, and evaluation
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with an ability to drive projects through partnerships with People team and business leaders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask or re-prioritize as needed in a fast paced environment
- Proven LMS experience (Workday preferred) or experience with similar systems
- Willing to travel to Collectors locations to deliver workshops as needed
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $130,400 - $187,752. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
