Requirements
  • Experience with working on a Brigade level or Higher staff
  • Experience with ATRRS, and Reserve Component Manpower System (RCMS)
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft products, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of the AR 350-10, Management of Army Individual Training Requirements and Resources, AR 350-1, Army Training and Leader Development, and the Training Management Life Cycle
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Experience with the US Army Reserve
  • Experience in working with Army Institutional Training
  • Ability to travel 25% or less of the time
  • Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a functional expert for the Army client’s Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) qualification courses.
  • Manage and utilize quotas to schedule.
  • Train population who are not MOS qualified.
  • Communicate with the client organizations on quota utilization to properly schedule Soldiers for training.
  • Request and reserve seats, utilizing Army Individual Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS).
  • Research and compile data, information, and statistics to prepare recurring and special reports.
  • Process Will Train requests, conduct analysis and provide guidance as required.
  • Make recommendations to client organization’s leadership for future training requirements, projected training loads in support of the Training Coordination Council Workshop (TCCW) and Structure and Manning Decision Review (SMDR) processes.
  • Assist the ATRRS Team Leader on all ATRRS related issues.
  • Assist School Managers and quota managers in designated Career Management Fields (CMF).
  • Review and action Training Resources Arbitration Panels (TRAP), support and assist staff analyses and planning of Institutional Training requirements.
