Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree with 3 years’ experience; PhD with 1 years’ experience or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree (for Principal Engineer)
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 4 years’ experience or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree (for Sr Principal Engineer)
  • 2 years of experience as a technical guide for a team producing modeling, simulation, and analysis products
  • 1 year of experience with command, control, and communications enterprise systems
  • 1 year of experience with scripting and coding languages such as Python
  • 1 year of experience with Agile scrum teams and the Atlassian Tool Suite (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • 1 year of experience with model-based systems engineering tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
  • 1 year of experience with modeling and simulation tools such as the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) or Ansys Systems Tool Kit (STK)
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Responsibilities
  • Active member of the MS&A efforts for the NC3 mission area supporting the USAF Cooperative Research and Development Agreement
  • Work with multi-disciplinary team members from numerous NG locations
  • Provide project technical leadership related to the NC3 mission area
  • Set the model direction for all NC3 related efforts and communicate standards and architecture guidance to the team
  • Present to government representatives regarding our NC3 results based on MS&A
  • Produce mission engineering models, simulations, and analyses that support the research and development efforts
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline
  • Experience with NC3 systems and/or processes
  • Experience with the USAF strategic command, control, and communications mission
  • Experience with systems engineering modeling for other strategic NG programs such as Minuteman III, Sentinel, B-2, B-21, AEHF, OPIR, etc.
  • Self-driven, able to tackle challenges, solve problems with minimal oversight and make recommendations for solutions/process improvement to leadership
