Illumio specializes in cybersecurity solutions aimed at large enterprises and organizations that need strong data protection and network security. Its main product, the Adaptive Security Platform (ASP), offers visibility, security, and encryption for enterprise networks. The ASP helps businesses prevent cyber threats by using a method called micro-segmentation, which divides networks into smaller sections to limit the spread of potential breaches. This means that if one part of the network is attacked, the rest can remain secure. Illumio operates on a subscription-based model, allowing clients to pay for ongoing access to its services, which ensures consistent revenue and the ability to regularly update its offerings. The company is recognized for its effective cybersecurity measures and has received several awards for its products, establishing a strong reputation in the tech industry.
