Requirements
  • 10+ years progressive experience working with clients, brokers and carriers in the Benefit Administration sales and client success
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Employee/Health and Welfare Benefits, Web based Benefit Technology, Human Resources, or Health Care
  • Experience working with employer groups size of 10,000 lives +
  • If supporting our reseller, association and trust group, experience with pooled groups a must.
  • GBA, CEBS, PHR Designations preferred
  • Proven track record of retaining, growing and renewing client partnerships.
  • Eager to achieve and exceed a sales quota.
  • Ability to analyze and present data in a meaningful way that is pertinent to client’s goals.
  • Proven ability to create, engage and maintain strong relationships as you interact with current and prospective clients in a way that projects the Businessolver brand experience
  • Ability to be extremely flexible – comfort and experience in jumping back and forth between client meetings, calls, analyzing client’s needs, working with our internal staff to resolve issues, and handling anything else that comes up in a day

Responsibilities
  • Deeply understand our customers’ business objectives and become a trusted/frequent advisor, conducting regular meetings with clients to ensure alignment and review strategic objectives.
  • Execute a consultative sales strategy. Creating value for our clients. Ensure system optimization, usage of services, and client awareness of new services or process that would benefit client.
  • Manage book of business and consult on opportunities through our renewal and up/cross sell life cycle.
  • Responsible for client relationship at the Director and above level (where decisions are made).
  • Define and execute against renewal and up-sell strategy, focusing on selling with a retention focus to existing clients.
  • Assist with best practice identification to consult client on alternatives.
  • Engage in ongoing educational opportunities on product releases, updates and system functionality.
  • Educate, discuss, and collaborate with clients on relevant industry updates and legal changes.
  • Determine how to define, drive, and demonstrate the value (ROI) delivered by Businessolver.
  • Drive collaboration across business units, roles, and business processes to balance value for our clients and for BSC.
  • Create and review strategic client engagement plans, incorporating key team members, business units, and thoughtful recommendations for partnership advancements.
  • Ensure smart hand-off on new services to client delivery teams.
