Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in desktop support
  • Experience with support ticketing systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to employees for desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Maintain inventory of workstation hardware and software
  • Maintain and update desktop operating systems and software
  • Manage and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions
  • Assist with the maintenance and administration of the desktop environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to end-users
  • Provide training to employees on new desktop software and hardware
  • Maintain documentation of desktop hardware, software, and network configurations
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with RedHat Linux
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, DOS, PowerShell, Perl, and Python
  • Familiarity with unattended installers and OS system imaging
  • CompTIA Certifications including A+, Security+, Linux+
  • Experience with Remote Support Tools ( Remote Assistance, Bomgar )
