Requirements
  • 0-2+ years of relevant experience, with demonstrated ability emphasized over tenure.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Docker.
  • Experience working with and deploying large language models or agentic, artificial-intelligence-assisted systems.
  • Experience building backend systems, including databases, application programming interfaces, and infrastructure, with a solid understanding of core data structures and algorithms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
  • A degree is not required.
Responsibilities
  • Translate product and internal requirements into clean, functioning code that ships to production.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to implement solutions, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, contributing to the stability and reliability of the tools.
  • Use large language models and artificial-intelligence coding tools to accelerate development and continuously expand technical skills.
  • Participate in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to improve how software is built and shipped.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with, or strong interest in, data pipelines and modeling tools such as SQL, dbt, or BigQuery, along with an interest in survey methodology.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools such as Docker, Google Cloud Platform, Git or other version-control systems, and basic continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.
