Requirements
  • 2 Year Technical Education Degree or 5+ Years of IT Administrative support (preferably with manufacturing operations and process workflow experience and background).
  • Strong O/S Skills are a must along with extensive network communications troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and effectively communicate with manufacturing leadership under demanding conditions is critical, along with being a self-starter.
Responsibilities
  • Position will support two USA manufacturing sites that make Hard Disk Drive components.
  • Job is on-site work only with occasional remote work during emergencies.
  • Position pays hourly with a set weekly schedule tuned to optimize manufacturing coverage.
  • Position will liaison with applications development team for problems that require code changes.
  • Position will require working in the Cleanroom and follow Cleanroom Protocol.
  • Collaborate with Western Digital's Global desktop support group.
  • Collaborate with the IT asset management group.
  • Manage Laptop and Workstation Inventory.
  • Update CMDB asset database in ServiceNow.
  • Order IT consumables.
  • Work with Leadership Team to create weekly and quarterly reports.
  • Attend Morning and Afternoon Manufacturing Operations Status meetings (when asked).
