Requirements
  • You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, including working with engineers, preferably in e-commerce
  • You understand how to narrow in on metrics that matter and can track initiatives against those metrics. You understand where to move fast to move the business and when to invest and build in the right way
  • You have an entrepreneurial, get-stuff-done mindset and are not afraid to take measured risks when the data shows that it makes sense
  • You thrive in ambiguity with competing objectives and priorities. You are comfortable at the intersection of engineering, design, analytics, and user research/insights
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can own the delivery process for features that you build with the engineering team
  • You can go deep on a problem, uncover clues and find pockets of opportunity anywhere and everywhere, even when they aren't always obvious. You have humility are open about what you don't know but what you want to learn
Responsibilities
  • Product Management: You will invent, champion, and execute new initiatives - such as launching new multi-vendor capabilities, working with catalog and data teams to grow and optimize the products we offer, and rapidly onboarding new suppliers. You'll own the roadmap and justify projects against key company objectives and metrics
  • Process Improvements: You will collaborate with internal teams (Design, Engineering, Data, Supply, Ops) to support the Agile Sprint process and make constant improvements to internal processes, documentation, sprint processes, and more
  • Technical Requirements: You will work with our existing tools to understand technical requirements, wrap your head around new features and functionality, and then translate those into internal tasks and projects to quickly bring new product developments to market. You'll help makes decisions on whether to build or to buy
  • Product Ownership: You'll be a chief owner of the Snapshop backend. You'll have end to end understanding of the business and technical processes and work closely with the General Manager to run the Snapshop business
  • Operational Diligence: Many of the features you build will make it easier for our partners to list and sell on Snapshop. We'll have millions of items and thousands of suppliers, so you'll need to ensure that everything you build - from catalog improvements to customer service functionality - can be operated and scaled by our teams
  • Collaborative Execution: You won't always have all of the answers, but you'll be able to rally the right teams and experts to come up with the best solutions; you will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects, managing sprint processes for various engineering teams and coordinating with Design and Business teams to clarify requirements and gain the necessary buy-in
  • E-commerce Expertise: You'll live and breathe e-commerce, so you'll need extensive knowledge of the ins-and-outs of e-commerce demand, supply, fulfilment, digital marketing, attribution, and more. If you don't come from this industry, you'll learn fast as you go
