Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience with the managed care organization authorization process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all company business lines and the ability to articulate them.
  • Basic understanding of the claims life cycle.
  • Fundamental understanding of healthcare benefits, including HMO, PPO, ACO, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Experience in public speaking.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own relationships with case management and utilization management departments within assigned payor accounts.
  • Hold weekly or monthly meetings with managed care organization delegates to provide updates on existing patients and referrals.
  • Capture and maintain metrics for assigned managed care organizations, including staffing ratios, referral conversion, and speed to care.
  • Collaborate with payor strategy, payor relations, and business development leadership to develop primary volume and secondary growth goals.
  • Develop tools for area leaders to educate branches, reiterate preferred payor targets, and align with account expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with branch personnel to align on partnership opportunities with assigned payors.
  • Coordinate with locations on operational barriers and case interventions that need escalation to the payor.
  • Partner with payor strategy leadership on enhanced rate requests and associated documents.
  • Map and maintain organizational charts for assigned managed care organizations.
  • Identify resources for the payor landing page on the company website.
  • Oversee compliance for managed care organization-required reports.
  • Coordinate with the business development team on major account referrals tied to assigned managed care organizations.
  • Encourage ongoing communication between branch locations and managed care organization contacts.
  • Develop practice efficiencies that benefit the company and assigned managed care organizations.
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings to develop and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.

Aveanna Healthcare shareholders launch secondary offering of 15M shares

Whitney Equity Partners VII and current and former directors and officers, have commenced a secondary offering of 15 million shares of common stock.
