  • 5+ years experience working with customers/partners in a pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support capacity
  • Possess the attitude and aptitude for continuous growth and development
  • Ability to influence stakeholders based on technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
  • Willingness to travel to visit and support partners
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs between SaaS applications
  • Programming experience to generate and pull insights from data sets
  • Organized and analytical with creative problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic technical organization
  • Experience in Python, R, and SQL
  • Experience in database queries and large data set management
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience selling to insurance companies
  • Previous experience in a Channel or Partner environment
  • Strong technical and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of integration standards and transports
  • Exposure to SaaS-based integrations
  • IoT or general tinkering experience
  • Logistics, Supply Chain, Telematics, Manufacturing, or operations background
  • Experience as a data scientist, data engineer, or related role
  • Drive engagement with Insurance Partners
  • Find solution fit with Partners and foster new technology opportunities
  • Develop relationships with key Insurance Partners
  • Assist Insurance partners in leveraging Samsara’s open API
  • Identify, build, and visualize datasets demonstrating product impact
  • Work closely with Product Management to develop integrations
  • Deliver presentations, demos, and trainings for Partners
  • Enable internal teams to utilize and sell Partner integrations
  • Use Python/R/SQL to glean data insights
  • Prepare technical resources for internal and external use
  • Meet with partners and attend events
  • Demonstrate value proposition of Samsara’s products
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles
