Requirements
  • Must be available to commit to the full program dates: May 19-July 25, 2025 OR June 23-August 29, 2025
  • Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical subject (e.g. Math, Statistics, Data Science) between December 2025 and July 2026
  • Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance
  • Must commit to full time hours every week
  • Must be graduating from university in the same country of internship location
  • Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
Responsibilities
  • You’ll be developing Statistical, Visualization & communication best practices and skills
  • You'll identify partner teams' key problems, prototype solutions, and help solve business problems using statistical analysis and tools
  • You’ll provide ad-hoc analysis and use visualization techniques to communicate insights and recommendations
  • You’ll leverage hypothesis testing to help drive key business solutions
  • You'll gain a good understanding of our domain (i.e. travel, e-commerce) & business goals and become a data specialist
  • You’ll partner with sales, product, data engineering teams to implement sustainable analytics solutions
Desired Qualifications
  • Helpful to have good analytics skills and be self-motivated
  • Helpful to have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
  • Helpful to have skills in SQL, Tableau, R, Python are a bonus for data transformation and analysis
  • Helpful to have familiarity with basic visualization principles such as labeling & titling and visualization tools such as Tableau or Excel

Vrbo Plans Greater Traveler Targeting Through Marketing Tech

Expedia vacation rental brand Vrbo has developed a promotion suite to make more personalized offers to travelers. Where the brand had only been able to offer week and monthly discounts in the past, it now hopes to improve the proposition for travelers through promotions such as mobile deals, member-only deals for OneKey members and last-minute offers.
