Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional licensure, certification, or accreditation is required.
  • Achievement of or pursuit of LEED Accreditation or other industry-relevant certifications and accreditations.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the architecture/engineering or mechanical, electrical, and plumbing industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in REVIT software.
  • Extensive knowledge of standards and codes.
  • Participation in professional industry organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, including Slides, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, and Gmail.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
  • Ability to manage time, priorities, and resources effectively.
  • Ability to take ownership of commitments and remain accountable for results.
  • Ability to identify process-improvement and innovation opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams in exploring solutions and developing technically sound electrical engineering designs.
  • Oversee the creation and coordination of construction documents from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Contribute to departmental standards and quality practices.
  • Build a collaborative project-team culture by modeling accountability and supporting open communication.
  • Build and sustain relationships with existing clients while cultivating new partnerships.
  • Participate in business-development activities, networking, and professional organizations.
  • Collaborate with clients throughout planning and design to align solutions with their needs and goals.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to clients through strategic insights and solutions.
  • Serve as a discipline leader on projects and coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and construction partners to meet schedule, budget, and quality milestones.
  • Organize project information, track progress, and maintain communication across disciplines.
  • Review and provide feedback on design documents to strengthen technical quality and support team development.
  • Mentor team members by sharing expertise, lessons learned, and best practices.
  • Participate in career development, mentorship opportunities, expanded project responsibilities, professional-development programs, innovation initiatives, internal committees, networking, and industry involvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
