Requirements
  • Provide in-home and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis therapy.
  • Track client progress during sessions.
  • Maintain open and flexible availability across multiple days and times throughout the week, including daytime, after-school, and evening sessions as assigned.
  • Have personal and reliable transportation and be comfortable driving to client homes.
  • Have access to and ability to use a smartphone or similar internet-connected device capable of capturing client session data.
  • Stay active throughout the day by sitting on the floor, kneeling, bending, crouching, standing, and frequently transitioning between floor and standing during therapy sessions.
  • Lift or assist children and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as required by assigned cases.
  • Travel reliably between assigned client locations.
Responsibilities
  • Teach communication, social, play, and everyday life skills using Applied Behavior Analysis therapy.
  • Implement behavior support plans and ensure client safety by responding calmly and appropriately to challenging behaviors.
  • Complete documentation using electronic devices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician certification.
  • Recent experience working with children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Six months of recent experience as a Behavior Technician, Registered Behavior Technician, Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, Special Education Aide, Direct Support Professional, Caregiver, Respite Worker, Youth Coach, Preschool Teacher, Teacher's Assistant, Childcare Provider, Nanny, Babysitter, Camp Counselor, Tutor, Substitute Teacher, Behavioral Health Technician, Interventionist, Social Services Worker, Foster Care Worker, Qualified Mental Health Professional, Autism Advocate, Mental Health Advocate, After-School Program Staff, Childcare Volunteer, or a similar role supporting children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Currently pursuing or having completed college coursework or a degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Child Development, Sociology, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Energy, patience, and professionalism while actively engaging with children.
