- Provide leadership for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the system-wide Neuroscience and Orthopedic service lines resulting in market responsiveness, high-quality outcomes, and cost-effective performance.
- Work with medical staff and department leadership to ensure that the goals for patient care, quality, and business objectives are met.
- Assist with daily operations related to patient access, flow, and logistics.
- Lead the effort to standardize care delivery, improve clinical quality and outcomes across the Region; reduce clinical and practice variation; improve operations and financial performance; and develop and implement key strategies.
- Coordinate and project manage all improvement activities related to the entire Neuro, Ortho, Stroke, and Spine program, including those within the JMH hospitals, and collaborating with those taking place in the OP setting.
- Develop and monitor protocols and clinical pathways, order sets, and collecting quality metrics in collaboration with the physician champions.
- Support the development and implementation of new and existing programs in neurosciences and orthopedics throughout the organization and with external partners.
- Internal and external collaboration with other departments and physicians to facilitate efficient and effective operational business strategies.
- Develop and implement services and program strategies that provide an exceptional patient-centered experience with a seamless care delivery system and innovative care models to improve quality outcomes.
- Coordinate improvement activities related to the entire Neuro, Ortho, Stroke, and Spine program across the organization.
