Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX
  • Knowledge of full-stack technologies - React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product & Design
  • Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores
  • Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance
  • Experience working on large scale Ruby on Rails / Go projects
  • Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms
  • Experience with Server Side Rendering technologies such as NextJS
  • Experience building performant data visualizations and graphs
  • Experience leading large scale modernization efforts to revamp legacy systems
Responsibilities
  • Designing, improving, and debugging complex, scalable distributed systems
  • Finding solutions to optimize bottle-necks and general system wide performance
  • Writing extensible scalable and test-driven code
  • Taking part in technical planning and architectural decision-making
  • Collaborating with team members on designing scalable, well tested, and well documented web architecture
  • Taking responsibility and ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Contributing to code reviews and technical spec reviews
