Requirements
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Finance or related quantitative analytics degree
  • 5+ years post-collegiate experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • 3+ years experience hiring and developing marketing teams
  • Strong analytical skills - highly comfortable with data and meticulous about accuracy in reporting
  • You're a self-starter who takes initiative in testing and learning new strategies and tactics and will drive new process improvements
  • High attention to detail, you pride yourself on accuracy and find yourself constantly double checking your work
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with experience presenting in group settings including to company executives
  • Persistence - never afraid to try new things, fail, and then try new strategies and approaches to succeed
  • Self-motivated and focused on executing well; you enjoy being hands-on
Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy and execution of Web marketing initiatives with a heavy focus on SEM. Opportunity down the line to own other web initiatives such as SEO, Display, Affiliates, and more
  • Hire and develop a team of high performing data driven marketers. A team that will grow significantly in the near and long term
  • Driving scale across channels while targeting performance ROAS/KPI goals
  • Collaborate with in-house data team to automate marketing processes and create robust dashboards and reports
  • Set aggressive goals for Web marketing tracking progress against them over time
  • Serve as a leader at the company frequently presenting on Web marketing performance to the exec team and larger company
  • Serve as a point of contact with media partners and other third parties proactively researching new opportunities to drive stronger ROAS and more scale
  • Consistent focus on uncovering areas of improvement. Generate hypotheses, test and learn
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience managing SEO, either with an in-house team or external agency, is a plus
  • Interest in the sports/live entertainment space is a plus
  • Proficient in SQL is a plus
