The Vice President, Insights will lead and coordinate the work of the Strategy and Insights (S&I) department’s Data & Analytics, Research and Surveys, and Geomatics teams to provide expert analysis and strategic advice. Drive the use of evidence-based and data-driven approaches to support Infrastructure Ontario’s (IO) priorities and improve business outcomes.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage the Insights teams to deliver relevant analysis and strategic advice to IO’s executive and senior management teams.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for data-driven approaches to enhance IO’s operations and decision-making.
- Develop and implement policies and processes to standardize and professionalize the use of analytics, data, and research across IO.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration within the Insights teams and with other departments to leverage expertise and improve outputs.
- Establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to secure data, expertise, and funding for insights projects.
- Present and defend insights agendas and findings to the CEO, executive management team, and external partners.

- Post-secondary and/or professional learnings in public administration, business, engineering, or social sciences. Advanced degrees in analytics, data management, Geographic Information Systems or any research-driven discipline are a strong asset.
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role. For candidates with 10+ years of management experience, your extensive experience drives organizational success.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced research methodologies, quantitative analysis, and statistical capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex research and analytics outputs to non-expert audiences.
- Proven experience in change management and process improvement, with a track record of leading transformational change.
- Strong strategic planning skills and the ability to influence and generate support for insights initiatives.
