- 4-8 years of working experience in Test Automation with expertise in UI Automation ( Cypress / Selenium /Playwright ) and API Automation
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python, and other scripting languages
- Experience in database testing to validate data integrity, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of our data systems. Expertise in MongoDB / Cassandra / Elasticsearch / HBase is preferred
- Good understanding of Kafka / Spark / Storm
- Hands-on experience with building processes, CI processes, and managing QA environments
- Experience working with build management tools like Git and Jenkins
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- gatekeeper for product and platform quality and come up with a Project/Feature system test strategy, test plans, resource planning, and execution strategy
- Develop maintainable test automation tools and automated test suites. You will also work closely with Software Engineers and solution engineers from the beginning of the development/test cycle and be an integral part of the engineering team
- Along with automation, create expertise in data technologies, platform components, and features maintain test coverage, regression pipelines, and release management
- Develop, design, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools using programming languages such as Java or Python
- Collaborate with development teams to develop test strategies and plans for new product features
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of our products
- Perform manual testing when necessary, and identify and report defects
- Work with build management tools like Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools to ensure smooth build and deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and improve product quality
- Monitor and analyse test results, and provide feedback to development teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes
- Proficiency in Big Data Testing / Hadoop Testing
