  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Expertise in Operational Excellence
  • Proven track record of leading and launching successful applications with high degree of complexity at scale
  • Ability to design solutions at scale involving multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent coding skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and innovate at scale
  • Proven track record of solving for issues at root using automation and self-service
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and launch retail solutions at scale with high Operational Excellence
  • Be a force multiplier by setting high standards for Coding, Devops and OE within the team
  • Mentor Senior, Intermediate and Junior Engineers in the team
  • Lead initiatives from requirements analysis and design to post launch support adding value to Walmart store associates and shoppers
  • Navigate ambiguity and innovate to come up solutions that work at scale to innovate for next generation of retail at Walmart
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences
  • Demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices
