Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- 6 or more years full-time Software Engineering work experience
- 10 years full-time Software Engineering work experience with 6+ years in specific areas
- At least 4 years experience in managing high-performing teams in Machine Learning and Data Engineering
- Proven track record managing and scaling machine learning teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and effective people management for a team of engineers
- Attract, recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing ML and Data Engineering team
- Drive technical excellence, operational maturity, and code quality within the team
- Drive and influence strategy and roadmap creation for the ML and Data Engineering teams
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other Engineering teams to deliver cross-functional features and capabilities
- Build things with the team
