Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in an administrative function or in a manufacturing organization.
  • Working knowledge of human resources information system administration, benefits, talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, and Massachusetts state labor and wage/hour laws.
  • Ability to manage projects, timelines, details, and deliverables independently.
  • Ability to work with diverse internal team members and external contacts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, recommendation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship skills.
  • Professionalism and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel up to 25% within site locations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear regularly; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally crouch, stoop, or reach.
Responsibilities
  • Draft and update job descriptions and postings.
  • Source candidates and conduct initial phone screens.
  • Facilitate onsite interviews for hiring managers and maintain talent pools in Greenhouse.
  • Support onboarding processes, including background checks and drafting offer letters.
  • Initiate and facilitate new-hire orientation, onboarding, and other hiring processes.
  • Provide employee support and troubleshooting for UKG human resources information system navigation.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive site and organization data in human resources, insurance, and other applicable systems.
  • Document, memorialize, and update the human resources information system.
  • Prepare and distribute human resources data reports, including headcount, turnover, and workforce analytics, to support business decisions and compliance monitoring.
  • Assist with onsite open-enrollment meetings and processes.
  • Audit and review benefit deductions and enrollment for accuracy.
  • Process qualifying events and other benefit changes and updates.
  • Provide employee customer service and advocacy regarding claims issues, reimbursements, coverage confirmation, finding a doctor, and accessing care.
  • Receive and direct work-related illness and injury incidents to human resources leadership.
  • File and track incident reports and claims documentation.
  • Facilitate safety, hazard, ergonomics, risk-prevention, and policy-based training as needed.
  • Act as a neutral liaison between employees and management or leadership.
  • Administer performance-review and appraisal processes.
  • Receive and escalate employee grievances to site management and human resources leadership.
  • Facilitate or support investigations and provide related documentation under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager.
  • Ensure site activity, documentation, audits, and practices comply with applicable local and federal employment, labor, and wage/hour laws.
  • Maintain required internal posting and communication requirements.
  • Draft initial leave-of-absence notices, letters, and documentation related to employee accommodation needs.
  • Escalate known and emergent needs requiring HR intervention and support.
  • Perform other responsibilities, initiatives, and ad hoc projects as required.
