Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in plant, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance is required; concrete plant experience is a plus.
  • Skilled in electrical work, plumbing, and welding.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Able to solve difficult repair problems under pressure.
  • Familiar with plant safety rules and regulations and committed to correcting hazards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable operating plant machinery.
  • Willing to complete the company's pre-employment screenings.
  • Available for emergency repairs, including nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of plant maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect equipment and systems regularly to identify issues before they become problems.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Fabricate, repair, or reinforce plant equipment and structures using welding.
  • Coordinate with plant leaders to prioritize maintenance work.
  • Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and time spent.
  • Learn new techniques and follow current safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with outside experts when specialized skills are needed.
  • Identify and correct plant safety hazards.
  • Provide maintenance support wherever needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a concrete plant.
  • Technical training or a vocational degree.
  • Maintenance-related certifications.
