Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree with a concentration in finance or commercial real estate.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in real estate asset management; property management; commercial leasing; including analysis, customer management, construction management and strategic positioning / marketing of assets on a competitive basis within the market.
  • Knowledge of data center components, operations, and networking / connectivity. Prior experience with development and/or operation of colocation facilities preferred.
  • An outgoing and engaging personality with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • A goal-oriented mindset, a deep sense of ownership, and the ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating leases and other contract documents as well as managing broker and customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment; willingness to operate with a sense of urgency and produce quality work product under strict time constraints.

  • Analytical skills including the following: Comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements, budgets and financial forecast models; title and legal documentation conveying title; construction specifications, technical plans and designs, and contracts.
  • Understanding the financial impact of capital allocation decisions and thinking creatively in order to manage risk and maximize returns.
  • Summarizing property and financial performance through evaluation of various data sources including operations and capital expenditures, project budgeting, long-term cash flows, variance analysis and understanding expense reconciliations.
  • Acquiring and applying knowledge of local laws and ordinances affecting ownership, leasing, financing, and operation of data center real estate.
  • General knowledge of construction specifications, technical drawings, construction methodology and construction scheduling techniques.
  • The ability to effectively recognize and respond, verbally or in writing, to sensitive issues, complex inquiries and/or complaints.
  • The ability to make insightful presentations and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders, customers, investors, and the general public.
Responsibilities
  • Promote collaboration with various teams across disciplines including operations, finance, acquisitions, legal, engineering, implementation, and sales to problem solve and maximize the return for your properties.
  • Oversee and manage technical projects to include customer migrations, equipment upgrades, and redevelopment.
  • Work closely with our Design, Engineering & Construction team throughout the lifecycle of our redevelopment projects while providing valuable insight and direction from a business perspective to meet tenant timelines and delivery schedules.
  • Interaction with local municipalities and utility providers as the jurisdiction requires for various site-specific needs such as utility agreements, entitlements, property taxes, permits and bonds.
  • Formulating proposals, underwriting and negotiating contracts, driving renewal and expansion opportunities, and helping to oversee capital projects/inventory management.
  • Review, interpret, and formulate lease documents and service orders to inform strategic decisions and align with ongoing initiatives.
  • As part of the Portfolio Management Group (PMG), you will help manage tenant relationships where you will provide analytical insights to drive strategic initiatives and support critical business decisions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with development and/or operation of colocation facilities preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Argus, Yardi, or other leasing and valuation software is preferred.

Company looks to add to three existing facilities in a constrained market April 09, 2026 US colocation giant Digital Realty is planning a large-scale investment in Singapore. The company this week announced it is targeting nearly S$7 billion (US$5.48bn) of total investment in Singapore. Digital's SIN12 facility in Singapore - Digital Realty That figure includes more than S$4.3 billion (US$3.37bn) planned for new data center developments, building on existing investments. Further details of any new facilities were not shared. "Singapore is emerging as a critical hub for AI inference in Asia Pacific," said Serene Nah, managing director and head of Asia Pacific, Digital Realty. "As organizations deploy AI in real-world environments, they need secure, highly connected infrastructure close to where data is created and consumed. This S$7 billion investment target demonstrates our confidence in Singapore's role as the region's AI infrastructure anchor. We're not just expanding capacity - we're building the operational capabilities, innovation facilities, and local talent base needed to support customers as AI enters production at scale." Digital Realty currently lists three data centers in Singapore: SIN10, SIN11, and SIN12, totaling 925,000 sq ft (85,900 sq ft) of colocation space and 70MW of capacity. The company first entered Singapore in 2010, acquiring a newly developed data center. First announced in 2019, the 50MW SIN12 (also known as Digital Loyang II) launched in 2021. Announced in 2015, the 13MW SIN11 (aka Digital Loyang I) was redeveloped from a former paper store and launched in 2016. Singapore has had a moratorium on new data center developments since 2019 (although already authorized facilities were allowed to be built after this point), but this is starting to be relaxed. Equinix, GDS, Microsoft, and a consortium of AirTrunk and TikTok-owner ByteDance were collectively allocated 80MW of capacity in 2023. Digital reportedly missed out on a capacity allocation, with reports suggesting the company had applied to develop a 60MW facility. The Singapore government is currently requesting applications for further data center projects, and is set to allow up to 200MW of capacity to be developed. Digital Realty opens first Asia Pacific innovation lab in Japan amid $69B AI investment push

Digital Realty has opened its first Asia Pacific innovation lab in Tokyo, Japan, marking the second such facility globally after Northern Virginia. The Digital Realty Innovation Lab at the NRT12 data centre is designed to help enterprises test and optimise AI and hybrid cloud architectures under real-world conditions. Established through MC Digital Realty, a joint venture between Digital Realty and Mitsubishi Corporation, the facility supports Japan's push to invest over 10 trillion yen in semiconductor and AI technologies by 2030. The lab features both air-cooled and direct liquid-cooled environments for high-power-density workloads. Over 20 partner companies are currently using the facility to explore AI-ready infrastructure. Digital Realty plans to launch a third innovation lab in Singapore in the second half of 2026.

Digital Realty opens NRT14, third data centre at Japan campus, boosting IT capacity to nearly 100MW

Digital Realty has opened NRT14, its third data centre at the NRT campus in Inzai City, Japan. The facility brings the campus's total IT power capacity to nearly 100 megawatts. Developed through MC Digital Realty, a 50/50 joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation, NRT14 features hybrid liquid- and air-cooling capabilities optimised for next-generation graphics processing units. The facility is amongst the first in Japan to achieve DGX-Ready Data Center certification, enabling it to support high-density AI workloads exceeding 100 kilowatts. NRT14 offers colocation services of up to 150 kilowatts per rack and provides a low-latency network environment. The facility addresses growing demand in the Tokyo metropolitan area for scalable data centres supporting AI training and inference deployments.
