  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree (Business, Communications, Economics, Finance, Psychology, or related field)

  • Curiosity or interest in technology and electronics hardware and software systems (previous exposure to engineering teams or electronics is NOT required)
  • Capacity to learn and speak intelligently about our business and projects
  • Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers and executives while building strong relationships with both groups
  • Applicant must be willing to work 40 hours a week on-site in El Segundo, CA
  • Applicant must be eligible to work on ITAR projects

  • Collaborate with internal operations teams and engineering teams on key people initiatives
  • Become well-versed in our applicant tracking system (ATS) to review candidates and monitor candidate progression throughout the interview process
  • Schedule interviews (e.g., phone, virtual, and in-person or on-site events), assist in calendar coordination and candidate communication across the company
  • Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication and efficient interview scheduling
  • Shadow recruitment team members during phone screens and interviews to learn SOE's recruitment and screening processes
  • Assist in sourcing efforts to identify passive candidates (e.g., University Recruiting, LinkedIn Recruiter, candidate databases, social media, Diversity Outreach contacts)
  • Engage with universities and assist with university recruitment events
