The devices underwent rigorous testing, including exposure to direct flame, heat testing to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, and drop testing from 9.8 feet. The latest APX NEXT XN model adds low earth orbit satellite connectivity to LMR and broadband, extending coverage to approximately half a million square miles of the US traditionally unreachable by land-based cellular towers.
