Requirements
  • Ability to safely handle power tools, hand tools, ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, electrical equipment, lumber, and roofing materials.
  • Ability to perform conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles and other equipment safely.
  • At least 1-2 years of solar experience.
  • A valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to work at great heights and perform prolonged kneeling, bending, crouching, and ladder climbing.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to work in extreme environments, including hot sun and cold conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys for residential battery storage systems.
  • Relocate circuits and install subpanels.
  • Work with the Branch Manager, Project Manager, and homeowners to complete system upgrades and repairs supporting solar equipment.
  • Work with local inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations.
  • Maintain quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials.
  • Install residential battery storage systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of advances in new and alternative energy options related to construction and design.
  • Keep accurate records of materials used and documentation on installation work orders.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
