Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and guidance on the design, evaluation, and management of government and private sector sponsored Research and Development programs pertaining to nuclear science or engineering.
  • Serve as a strategic technical advisor to energy clients and support the development of new reactor and fuel cycle technologies.
  • Engage and collaborate with a group of technology experts to leverage rapidly maturing technologies from other sectors to further the design, manufacture, and fueling of advanced nuclear reactors.
  • Inform clients about emerging nuclear technology needs.
  • Guide the energy sector towards sustainable solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in postdoctoral, academic, or industry roles related to neutronics simulation and fuel performance codes, thermal hydraulics, or reactor materials and manufacturing
  • Experience in an advisory role
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when dealing with uncertainty and ask insightful questions that challenge traditional thinking
  • Possession of excellent communication, organizational, client service, and analytical skills
