Requirements
  • Must have a Top Secret clearance or be eligible for access to sensitive information and be actively cleared where applicable.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Security clearance is required for engagement teams handling sensitive federal work; Top Secret is specified in ancillary details.
  • A minimum of five years of compensated professional experience in the field of threat assessment and management, or two years of ATAP membership plus two years of compensated experience; or a total of ten years of experience in threat assessment and threat management.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in the field of threat assessment and/or threat management.
  • Possess or obtain certification as a Threat Assessment Professional from the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and be an active ATAP member.
  • Possess a minimum of six years of experience in threat assessment and/or threat management as one of the stated paths under qualifications.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Department of Defense population through work experience directly supporting the military or DoD population.
  • Experience providing support and expertise to a local, state or federal threat management unit or team focused upon assessing and managing the risk of violent behavior.
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience providing threat assessment and threat management advice to military or civilian leaders and presenting findings in written and verbal formats.
  • Experience with Intelligence or Law Enforcement communities and with government, DoD, and commercial databases used to compile analytic products for threat assessment briefs.
  • Demonstrated experience using Structured Professional Judgment tools such as WAVR-21 and Trap 18.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with federal partners to develop response protocols and escalate threats in alignment with DITMAC policies.

  • Minimum of six years of experience in threat assessment and/or threat management.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the Department of Defense population through work experience directly supporting the military or DoD population.
  • Experience providing support and expertise to a local, state or federal threat management unit or team focused upon assessing and managing the risk of violent behavior.
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience with providing military or civilian leaders with threat assessment and threat management advice and counsel, and presenting those findings in both written and verbal formats.
  • Experience with the Intelligence and/or Law Enforcement communities, Government, DoD and commercial databases used to compile analytic products, and the ability to incorporate resulting analysis into threat assessment briefs.
  • Demonstrated experience using Structured Professional Judgment (SPJ) Tools to support threat assessment and management, such as Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR-21) and Trap 18.
