Responsibilities
  • Prepare autonomous vehicles for daily robotaxi fleet operations.
  • Ensure each vehicle is clean, inspected, charged, and deployment-ready before the shift begins.
  • Inspect cameras, LiDAR, radar, mirrors, sensors, windows, and interiors for cleanliness and condition.
  • Perform pre-deployment and post-shift inspections according to established procedures.
  • Monitor battery levels and charging schedules for autonomous electric vehicles.
  • Support daily robotaxi depot operations by coordinating vehicle movements, parking, charging, and staging.
  • Support vehicle dispatch and return processes.
  • Organize parking areas to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Keep the depot clean and ensure work areas meet safety standards.
  • Coordinate vehicle availability with safety operators, technicians, and operations leads.
  • Perform basic pre-deployment functional checks.
  • Inspect tires, lighting, fluids, charging equipment, and overall vehicle condition.
  • Identify cosmetic damage or operational issues requiring technical inspection.
  • Escalate maintenance issues to senior technicians or SDS specialists.
  • Support vehicle recovery and transport activities as needed.
  • Manage inventories of cleaning supplies, charging accessories, personal protective equipment, and operating equipment.
  • Track material consumption and report replenishment needs.
  • Receive deliveries and organize storage areas in the depot.
  • Support logistics for fleet expansion and new depot launches.
  • Complete digital inspection checklists and fleet-readiness reports.
  • Document vehicle status, charging information, and operational observations.
  • Follow depot safety procedures and company standards.
  • Support initiatives that increase fleet availability, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in fleet operations, logistics, warehouse operations, automotive detailing, or transport.
  • Experience with electric vehicles.
  • Basic mechanical understanding.
  • Experience in 24/7 operating environments.
  • A forklift license or logistics experience is advantageous.
