Requirements
  • Experience with operating in a tactical and operational level command post
  • Experience with global force management at the component, Combatant Command, or Joint Staff level
  • Experience with reviewing operational requirements for military forces, planning mission assurance requirements, conducting feasibility assessments (FA), and developing sourcing recommendations
  • Knowledge of DoD missions, functions, and interrelationships between the DoD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and the interagency community to develop and implement command-wide policies, programs, procedures, and strategies for global force management
  • Knowledge of USMC force posture, capabilities, and enablers in support of DoD resource allocation
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Responsibilities
  • Work with leadership to identify and plan resources to timely allocate staff expertise and material at the strategic and operational level
  • Engage with exercise and training planners to integrate mission assurance and current operations while coordinating with other DoD stakeholders to prioritize resource allocation
  • Work with our team to implement and manage a force development and employment program to meet the nation's global needs
