Mountain states & Southwest people news for november/december 2025. November 21, 2025 Bruce Crankshaw has been promoted to executive vice president of business operations at Big-D Cos. Crankshaw's focus will be on simplifying processes, sharing best practices and supporting Big-D's business units. Crankshaw previously served as chief operating officer at the Leavitt Group and most recently was executive vice president at Loveland Innovations. The Beck Group has appointed Tim Neely as health care project architect in its Denver office. Neely brings 17 years of experience to the role, including expertise on large hospital campuses and specialized pediatric facilities. He serves as chair of the AIA Colorado Academy of Architecture for Health and served two terms on the planning commission for the town of Littleton, Colo. Sundt Construction recently promoted Melissa Love to the role of preconstruction manager for Sundt's Southwest Building Group. Love has nearly 15 years of experience at Sundt and more than two decades in the construction industry. Love most recently served as preconstruction project manager on the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's T3 Residence Halls and Strategic Academic Flight Education Building. She has also served as a project controls manager, driving innovation in preconstruction technology and improving collaboration among clients, architects and Sundt's project teams. Karen Simpson is now environmental group manager for Burns & McDonnell's Mountain region. In her new role, Simpson oversees a team that provides environmental studies, consulting services, remediation and design-build solutions for environmental projects. Simpson has more than 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, managing environmental efforts for projects that have included solar development, transmission lines, substations, gas pipelines and data centers. Hanover, Md.-headquartered geotechnical contractor Keller appointed Jim Doyna chief financial officer of Keller North America. Based in Denver, Doyna most recently was CFO for MasTec's power delivery group. He has also worked for CH2M and Jacobs Engineering. Gilmore Construction has appointed Trevor Gray director of preconstruction and estimating. Gray brings more than 12 years of experience leading billion-dollar programs nationwide. Ryan Campbell has joined Gilmore as senior project engineer. With nearly 25 years of experience as a licensed master electrician, his subject matter expertise in MEP construction will help Gilmore expand its capabilities in highly complex and mission-critical work. Salvatore "Sal" Pace has been named general manager of the Front Range Passenger Rail District. Pace, a former Colorado House minority leader and Pueblo County commissioner, brings more than a decade of experience in passenger rail policy, coalition building and public infrastructure development as the district enters a new era of planning and implementation for Front Range passenger rail service. Rosendin has promoted Chad Constance and Jason Karseboom to operations managers in its Southwest regional office in Tempe, Ariz., to support the firm's growing semiconductor and data center markets. Constance and Karseboom previously served as division managers in the Tempe office, managing complex, large-scale building projects, including semiconductor facilities and mission critical and hyper-scale data center facilities. Constance brings 20 years of experience to his new role, including expertise in developing high-performing teams for large-scale electrical installations like the Mesa Data Center. Karseboom has led teams of more than 300 professionals on semiconductor facilities and data center projects for major technology companies during his 13-year career.

DALLAS - First Baptist Dallas is working with Dallas-based design and construction company The Beck Group on the rebuilding of the church's 130-plus-year-old sanctuary after it was destroyed by a fire in July.
First Baptist Church has selected the Beck Group, one of Dallas' best known design and construction companies, to lead the rebuilding the church's historic sanctuary after a four-alarm fire destroyed it in July, church officials said.
