  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven hands-on Architect experience in BSS area including CRM, Order Management, Billing, Revenue Assurance, and Mediation (not just high-level or pre-sales)
  • Strong experience designing and delivering integrations across platforms such as Netcracker/Amdocs/Ericsson/Nokia or other BSS, Workday, Salesforce or similar enterprise systems with working knowledge in Cloud-native, Open API Standard and TM Forum
  • Strong knowledge of integration design patterns (API-led, event-driven, pub/sub, microservices) and experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and event-driven architecture
  • Understanding of API and integration security (OAuth2, JWT)
  • Broad technical proficiency across cloud platforms, programming languages, databases, and networking technologies
  • Proven ability to collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams, demonstrating strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to influence decisions and guide technical teams effectively
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating into high-level architecture and detailed low-level designs (LLDs), while working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and business analysts ensuring effective solution implementation
  • Lead end-to-end integration architecture across BSS and enterprise systems, producing detailed developer-ready artifacts including API contracts, data mappings, sequence diagrams, and integration flows
  • Contribute to long-term BSS strategy, identifying trends, emerging technologies, and standards (e.g., cloud, AI, ODA, MEF, enterprise data platforms), and opportunities for innovation
  • Define and enforce solution standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines across teams, optimizing overall performance and scalability
  • Identify risks, performance challenges, and scalability concerns, and define mitigation and optimization strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and provide technical mentorship to development and integration teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Cloud (Azure preferred), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in Azure Integration Services: API Management (APIM), Azure Functions, Event Hub/Event Grid, Logic Apps
  • Knowledge of architectural frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman can be a plus
  • Development background with ability to read, review, and guide code (Python preferred) and hands-on experience with API tools like Postman
  • The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
