  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
  • 8+ years in engineering design with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Strong technical expertise in packaged systems for commercial and industrial applications
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools
  • Familiarity with control panels, instrumentation, and system integration
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the department’s quoting, design, and documentation processes for packaged systems
  • Develop detailed engineering designs and ensure drawings and submittals meet project requirements and industry standards
  • Oversee the selection and integration of components, including pumps, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, piping, and instrumentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure packaged systems meet commercial and industrial application needs
  • Ensure designs adhere to quality standards and applicable codes while optimizing for cost and functionality
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering innovation and professional development
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure seamless assembly and installation
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field is preferred
  • Experience with steel structures or enclosures
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASME, ANSI, NFPA)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
