  • Minimum of 5 years of service or maintenance experience
  • Must have a state-issued journeyman electrician's license
  • Desire to be on-site industrial electrical projects
  • Must be willing to be located in/around Dulles, Virginia or relocate permanently
  • Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Travel within up to a 200-mile radius may be required
  • Per diem and mileage stipends applicable per company policy
  • Hours vary; work may include weekends; more than 40 but no more than 60 hours per week
  • Ability to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces; exposure to dust and outside weather conditions
  • Safety-conscious and able to participate in safety program
  • On-site industrial electrical project experience is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of 3-15 people, including field on-tools work
  • Coordinate with owner and manufacturing representatives to test, troubleshoot, and commission 480 V power distribution equipment
  • Test, configure parameters, and modify electrical systems for plant production
  • Troubleshoot and repair 480 V and 120 V panels including power wiring, control wiring, PLCs, relays, and power supplies
  • Demonstrate a strong level of experience working with low-voltage power distribution electrical systems
  • Proficiently read schematics, technical drawings, and manuals, and identify issues to repair equipment
  • Maintain safety by setting the safety tone and participating in the Interstates safety program
  • Build productive relationships with onsite client representatives and allied trades on the project
  • Demonstrate broad electrical and construction knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned
