Requirements
- MBA or B.S. student majoring in Finance, Business, Engineering, or Chemistry
- Prior internship or work experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven
- Ability to develop business cases and justify them with an actual executable plan
- Skilled at manipulating data with tools including Excel, SQL, enterprise and customer relationship management systems, market data sources, etc.
- Excellent verbal & written communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, hands-on mindset, with a willingness to contribute at all levels
- Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place
Responsibilities
- Evaluating costs, assessing value, and analyzing pricing strategies to optimize profitability while ensuring exceptional service delivery to Redwood clients
- Collaborating with various teams and departments within the business to support research and projects related to refining, recycling, and copper foil
- Improving databases and creating dashboards
- Manipulating data to create direct feedback and quantified impacts
- Opportunity to expand experience into areas of interest
Redwood Materials is developing a closed-loop, domestic supply chain for lithium-ion batteries, focusing on engineering sustainability by transforming the battery supply chain and offering large-scale sources of domestic anode and cathode materials produced from an increasing number of recycled batteries.
