Requirements
  • Successfully completed degree in economics, law or business administration; alternatively relevant professional experience in the field of customs
  • Many years of professional experience & expert knowledge in customs matters
  • Strong project management skills & experience in leading projects in the field of customs & foreign trade
  • Project experience with SAP & SAP GTS as well as solid knowledge of logistics processes
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, GTS)
  • Strong communication skills, especially in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Fluent in German & English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
  • Disciplinary & functional leadership of the Customs Import department, with responsibility for operational customs clearance as well as preference management, tariff classification, and special customs procedures such as inward/outward processing
  • Further development of relevant processes & participation in global corporate projects
  • Consulting & support for business units on matters of fundamental customs law relevance
  • Responsibility for the legal assessment of complex cases within the framework of customs regulations
  • Development of future approaches for AI support in the customs domain & the use of new customs procedures, e.g. Centralized Clearance for Imports
