Requirements
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience.
- A bachelor's degree.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Knowledge and experience in maintenance and reliability management.
- Ability to oversee plant utilities, including ammonia refrigeration, steam generation and distribution, compressed air, and potable water systems.
- Ability to support compliance with food safety, worker safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operation of the ammonia refrigeration system, steam generation and distribution, compressed air system, potable water system, and associated activities.
- Provide direction, coaching, and training to team members as part of the engagement process.
- Work with supervisors and technicians regarding operational goals, directives, training, and development needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in the facility maintenance budget process and apply maintenance and reliability principles to improve facility costs and productivity.
- Serve as an active member of the plant Process Safety Management, energy, and Hazmat teams.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, worker safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
- Manage departmental expense and capital budgets, including scope and schedule.
- Interact with other departments to ensure asset health and availability for production.
