Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on SDET/QA Automation Engineer experience
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QA methodologies
  • Experience in automating web-based applications (5+ years)
  • Automation expertise using Selenium WebDriver (5+ years)
  • Automation expertise using Cypress JS (5+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JS, and Typescript (5+ years)
  • Automation expertise using tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, PyUnit, jUnit, Cypress, TestNG, or similar
  • Experience with cross-browser test automation using Selenium Grid/Browserstack or similar
  • Working knowledge of API automation and experience in setting up API tests for REST APIs and Web Services
  • Experience in testing iOS and/or Android mobile apps (optional)
  • Experience in version control tools such as Github or similar
  • Experience in working with build tools such as Jenkins and/or Other build tools to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in AWS is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Raising the quality bar in scrum teams by early testing via manual or automation process
  • Play a key role in the visibility of testing during each sprint and provide transparency on results
  • Work with the team to raise the bar of quality of each user story(ies) to improve the satisfaction of our internal and external end users
  • Testing user stories manually and writing automation for the same as and when needed
  • Building out automation frameworks that will help streamline our existing testing
  • Collaborate within the scrum team providing input for QA testing estimation, sprint planning, story development and testing, demos, and team retrospectives
  • Work with the Scrum team to write and define test plans for features
  • Work with Engineering and DevOps to add testing to deployment pipelines
  • Write Regression, Smoke, and Functional (end-to-end) tests in Selenium web driver using Java
  • Documenting test cases using test case management tools
  • Ensuring automation coverage and test execution are completed during each sprint and before release
  • Provide concise and accurate documentation of bugs within the sprint in Jira
  • Create & manage bug reports in Jira and communicate with the team
  • Deliver high-quality features by testing stories manually and writing automation for the same every sprint
  • Develop automation script that can be integrated into the continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process
