WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Lead a team of experienced mobile engineers in Redwood City
• Collaborate with leaders across teams to scale mobile development at Box
• Organize stand ups, sprint planning, technical discussions and work for the team
• Guide the professional growth of engineers, providing relevant and timely career guidance, coaching and feedback
• Define teams’ objectives and key results and ensure it aligns with Box’s business goals
• Define teams’ roadmap, execution plans and take ownership of delivery
• Drive engineering excellence through measuring and honing quality and identifying opportunities to increase developer productivity
• Align, coach and inspire team members to excel on Box values

WHO YOU ARE

• You have 6+ years of experience leading engineering teams 
• You have 10+ years of technical experience, including 5+ years building mobile applications
• You are experienced in leading strategic technical direction for your domain, and building alignment across functions and teams
• You have a people-oriented leadership style
• You are passionate about all things mobile and enjoy raising the bar
• And may have experience managing other managers

Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
