Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience as an IT Operations Manager or equivalent role managing a team of IT professionals
  • Strong Technical knowledge of IT Systems, platforms and technologies, including but not limited to Windows Operating systems, virtualization, cloud computing, network protocols and security principles. Experience with Linux, Gemini and/or Copilot a plus.
  • Experience with RMM Tools such as Connectwise automate or Kaseya VSA as well as other organizational tools like IT Glue, MyITProcess, and Addigy.
  • Strong Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Azure, Intune and Sharepoint. Exposure to Google workspace is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to dive in as a player/coach and be hands on with technology as projects require.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the System and Network Administration team, including infrastructure, systems and network management.
  • Lead IT projects, including upgrades and infrastructure improvements, with the ability to take on the role of solutions architect when appropriate.
  • Monitor performance and availability of systems, prepare and present reports on IT Operations performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and resolve IT incidents and problem escalations, ensuring a timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Develop and maintain the IT Operations budget and participate in the IT procurement process.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to IT Operations staff, fostering a culture or collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
