The Compliance Manager is vital for overseeing daily operations concerning post-closing obligations, as well as lender and property compliance. This role requires close collaboration with regional leadership and asset management to ensure properties fulfill lender-mandated requirements and are prepared for transactions. With a fast-paced environment, the position demands a strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail. The Compliance Manager must be comfortable in communicating with leadership, leading regional calls, and compiling reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the daily functions surrounding post close obligations and lender compliance.
Investigate and resolve issues related to documentation, payments, and other post-closing obligations in a timely manner.
Regularly communicates with the Asset Management teams and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure a seamless post-closing experience.
Maintain accurate records of all post-closing activities and resolutions; prepare reports as needed for management review.
Anticipates risk and escalates as needed.
Works closely with Senior Manager, Property lender Compliance to ensure property and lender compliance functions are being properly executed.
Provide guidance and training to team members regarding post-closing obligations and compliance requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management
3-5 years of experience in real estate industry
1+ years of management experience preferred.
Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner under tight deadlines
