Intro and job overview:

This is a part-time opportunity is for masters students beginning June 10th concluding August 2nd.

At Precisely we have increasingly invested in ensuring sustainable client success and the Value Engineering and Business Architect (VEBA) team within Presales is an instrumental part of this process. We are seeking a value advisor intern to join the VEBA Team. The value advisor intern works directly the VP of VEBA and supports the team in creating client-facing deliverables, research and analysis in building high-quality business cases and support evolution of the methodology, tools and assets. The intern will be comfortable working remotely and enjoy working with a high-performance team.

Responsibilities and duties:

Contribute to the Value Engineering practice in enhancing and refining our methodology, content and tools.
Create outside-in Point of View documents that articulate Precisely’s value proposition specific to a key industry vertical.
Support Value Advisors to identify, develop and execute VE engagements for targeted sales opportunities.
Support discovery workshops with clients to understand their goals, profile their current maturity across various business and data functions, identify the opportunity and cost to get to best-in-class (or the desired state) of maturity. This could be customer-facing and/or prep work.
Support the creation of high-quality deliverables that clearly articulate insights, business recommendations, solution recommendations, multi-year roadmaps and document the full business case to justify action.
Support presentation and validation of the value proposition to various organizational levels.

Requirements and qualifications:

MBA students with prior work experience preferred.
Years of experience required 2-4 years
Years of experience preferred with specific skills:2-3 years of management consulting experience
Any specific technical or software skills required: Excellent PowerPoint and MS Excel skills.
Basic familiarity with Enterprise software applications, preferably data management solutions
